FAVI Entertainment Wireless Keyboard (Built-in TouchPad/Laser Pointer) - Black Review
It's called a "mini" keyboard, and that's just what the Rii is. And what that means is that in physical terms, it's far smaller than a regular keyboard. Measuring just 5.9in x 2.3 in x 0.5in, this device is a dwarf compared with the regular 18x2x8 inches - and it's a lightweight at 3.2 oz.. It's not only small but it's also lightweight, making it terrific for carrying around or for keeping it in a bag when you need it on the move. Since it's compact, the Rii is handheld, but it provides for pleasantly easy typing.
Not only are you able to use the Rii Mini Wireless Keyboard with your PC, and your laptop, it's also a terrific accessory for your PS3 or wiki gaming systems. Wires are redundant with this mini keyboard's wireless capability, provided by a Bluetooth USB receiver, so you can easily connect to other wireless electronic units. The Rii has the usual laptop type of touchpad, and also full QWERTY capability. There are also 26 LED lights built into this mini keyboard for when the surrounding lighting is not bright enough. This mini keyboard uses two lithium ion batteries, which are included with the product and are likewise rechargeable.
As far as reviews go, there are plenty on Amazon, mostly with 4 or 5 stars. Nonetheless, as indicated by a quantity of 1,2 and 3 star votes, the device may initally look terrific but prove to be less so with time. One observation was that the device didn't work well with an Ubuntu system beyond a range of 30 feet, but it was quite good within that. Nonetheless, thirty feet is rather adequate. If you plan on using this mini keyboard for multimedia purposes then you'll be happy to know that there are buttons for volume and playlist control. This device also conveniently comes with other buttons, which although not often used, are nice when you do want them.
Naturally, as it is with anything, there are several negatives. What is a bit of an inconvenience now and then is that the touchpad is not as precise as we are used to with regular laptop touchpads. One other pain in the neck - which can be circumvented by using the mouse buttons for left and right alternatively - is that the touchpad is a bit insensitive to tapping. It should also be worth mentioning that the keys are directly underneath each other, and not 50% offset as we are used to with the larger keyboards. This isn't a big issue; however, it takes a bit of being accustomed to.
If you are searching for a mini keyboard that comes with a touch pad, you needn't look further than the Rii Mini Wireless Keyboard. On balance, the upsides greatly overshadow the few downsides, and the price is awesome.

"Depends on how much typing you do. I do minimal typing–usually when doing youtube searches on XBMC only. I ended up getting one of [these They have a bluetooth and a 2.4 ghz version. I took a chance with this because one important factor I eventually realized is that it’s nice if it’s backlit when watching in a dark environment. USB ports have a limited amount of electricity to give the devices that connect to them, you may be trying to use more power then the root port has to give, try using a powered USB hub or unplugging all other USB devices or plugging it directly into a port on the computer itself. Or it could just be a defective network adapter.
EDIT: did you try my suggestions or did you just assume I don't know what I'm talking about… USB ports provide 5V power only up to 500mA, if you have too many devices or non-self powered hubs chained to a port (or connected to ports that share a USB power supply), then you will NOT have enough power to run all the devices! The power that the USB port supplies is not based on the power available to the system.

Try leaving the lap top cover slightly open about a 1/4 inch and it will still go to sleep mode.
Turn off sleep and hibernate modes.
Would also suggest using a lap top cooling pad as when the cover is closed or almost closed it traps heat in and can cause over heating of the lap top.

PS2 should be recognized natively in Windows. There are no drivers or configuration really. If its not working it could be due to a bad PS2 port which I have had before, or a bad PS2 device. Have you tried multiple PS2 devices to make sure that its just not the keyboard?
well now, you have said you check the wireless keyboard and assumed that it was clean. So here is what I think:
- Possible that the liquide you spilled fried some keys
- Can be do to some connected peices that are for some reason still not buckled in rightly
- and for the last option I can think off, its busted.

If you try to use it on another system while out of the house, yes – probably. If not, it probably won't forget.
If it does, there's normally a little button on the underside of the keyboard, and a matching button on the "receiver" (the part that came with the wireless keyboard that's actually plugged into the back of the computer). Usually you press both buttons, or just press the one on the keyboard (depends on manufacturer) and they will sync up again.

Wireless devices are a poor choice for gaming. You are accepting variable lag by choosing this hardware, and complaining about the lag.
If you have the latest drivers, then you have all the performance this hardware set can give.

I think any blu tooth 2.0 and up device works with the ps3, but I'm not entirely sure, look for logitech though, they make official playstation products.

Not really – You might have to re-sync it when you try to reconnect, or at the worst re-boot the PC you are using it on.
Purchase a new set or something. You can buy a keyboard and mouse set for 15-35 bucks.

Usually a wireless keyboard talks to some kind of a "box" that plugs into the computer. For it to work, you will hve to take that "box" with you. The keyboard will continue to talk to that box at the new location, and will not care that it has moved. When you move them back to the old location, the keyboard will continue to talk to the "box" and not care that it has moved.
Your keyboard probably has a USB connector for the transmitter. XP was not developed to use USB before the installation actually has started, so it won't recognize the transmitter. Therefore you can't use it when installing XP. Borrow a wired keyboard from somebody, use that to install XP, then reconnect your wireless keyboard.

USB ports have a limited amount of electricity to give the devices that connect to them, you may be trying to use more power then the root port has to give, try using a powered USB hub or unplugging all other USB devices or plugging it directly into a port on the computer itself. Or it could just be a defective network adapter.
EDIT: did you try my suggestions or did you just assume I don't know what I'm talking about… USB ports provide 5V power only up to 500mA, if you have too many devices or non-self powered hubs chained to a port (or connected to ports that share a USB power supply), then you will NOT have enough power to run all the devices! The power that the USB port supplies is not based on the power available to the system.

I'm guessing that the driver for the keyboard transmitter probably loads with Windows and therefor is not loaded while attempting to enter the bios. Try using a standard keyboard while you load your OS.
